About Monsters
Monsters, an interesting subject that really gets you thinking, what exactly is a monster and what does one look like? When most people think of monsters they often think of a 7-eyed, furry beast or something of that sort. Many think of a Hollywood monster such as the Werewolf or Dracula. But the truth is that a monster can basically be any odd creature that you can think of!
The word monster is actually derived from the latin word monstrum and means that something is out of natural order. It is usually used to describe something that is dangerous, hideous, or unnatural. The word monster is used for many creatures and beings.
One such monster is Sully from the Disney movie Monsters Inc. Sully is big, blue, fluffy, horned, and semi-menacing. His friend Mike is also a monster and everyone knows who he is, the one-eyed, tiny little green guy whom everyone loves. The Hollywood monsters, on the other hand, are often menacing, creepy, scary, mean and ruthless. One example of this is Dracula, stalker of the night. They are scary and often the perfect scary monster costume for Halloween or a themed party while a monster like Mike and the Sully costume is playful and nice. But these are just examples of what a monster can be. A monster can be a purple snake with seven legs and eight eyes, or even an eyeball on some legs! You should pick a monster costume that is perfect for you and the occasion!
In order to pick a costume you should think of these things: Your age, your personality, and the event. When you take these things into account you can easily think up and then get the perfect costume for you. One example could be a small child who is very rambunctious and going trick or treating. The perfect monster costume for the little kid would most likely be Mike or Sully, but whatever he picks is sure to be fine. Same goes for anyone, pick a costume that is comfortable and that you enjoy wearing and you are all good to go!

A Freddy Kreuger. I don't care what anyone else says, he's the best. He gets you no matter what. You can stay up so he can't get you, but then you eventually get so exhausted you sleep without meaning to, and then you're vulnerable again. No door or walls can keep him out. Plus he's innovative enough to make every death different and interesting. I would be Freddy Kreuger.
